I choose Samoa because it’s the island of my culture and I’ve never been. The ocean looks very beautiful, and it really just looks relaxing. The catchphrase is in the Samoan language, and it means “What is felt in the ocean is felt in the land”.

2. If you’re shooting outdoors or with complicated modifier setups, you are going to need a lot of power to overcome the sun or the light loss caused by the modifiers.

3. Most strobe lights allow you to completely remove the reflector and attach different kinds of light modifiers.

4. Reflecting umbrellas produce a diffused and soft light due to the larger size of the reflecting surface.

5. Light flies from the strobe head hitting the inside of the umbrella and then bounces back towards the subject.

6.There are silver-lined, white, and gold tinted umbrellas. Silver-lined umbrellas are the most efficient and can focus light more narrowly than the other types.

7.White umbrellas offer a wider spread of reflected light, and gold umbrellas produce a warm tone.

8.Softboxes on the other hand are usually square or rectangular. They are lightweight boxes that come with a reflective inside and a translucent front.

9. Soft boxes come in different shapes and sizes and are attached to the front the strobe over the light source.

10.The difference between reflecting umbrellas and softboxes is that the spread of light with a softbox is more contained. With an umbrella on the other hand, light can spill beyond the boundaries of the reflective surface affecting the amount of light getting back to the subject.

Pop art is an art movement that uses imagery from popular culture, such as advertising for comics or movies. This artists work is considered pop art because of the use of its formatting and bright colors they used to create their masterpiece. This artist was the founder of pop art and uses famous celebrities in most of his work. I choose this because it was one of the first images to come up and I had some background knowledge on it already.

AI is changing photography in many ways. Photographers can use AI to improve their images quickly. AI tools can adjust exposure and color balance automatically. This saves time on editing. AI helps reduce noise and sharpen images. It can suggest better compositions for photos. Facial recognition and background removal are easier with AI. AI can organize and tag photos faster. It can also create HDR images by merging exposures. AI-driven editing can mimic famous styles. AI also enhances photographers creativity. In my opinion if you are adding too many adjustments with Ai the image isn’t fully yours, especially if your adding images Ai gives you.

I enjoy this light painting a lot. This one stuck out to me from all the others due to how many lights there are and how they made their surroundings apart of the light. It all comes together in one nice picture.

I think that this triptych is very interesting because it shows sequence of events that is happening. It’s a really creative idea and I believe that this is one of the best ways to do a triptych (sequence of events)

3. The different types of lighting patterns include butterfly, 2/3, split, loop, broad, rim, and Rembrandt.
